Germany, Part 1 (PICS)

I mentioned yesterday that I have tons of pictures to share from my travels over the last several months.  Since I’m leaving in the morning on yet another trip, I really don’t have much to occupy the rest of my day at the office.  Might as well spend the rest of the day bombarding you with photos!

I’ll start with some of the shots that I took in Hohenfels, Parsberg, and Regensburg, Germany.  Enjoy!

Way too many signs, and not a damn one of them in English.

I can’t tell you how many times I laughed over the fact that "exit" is "ausfahrt" in German.  Classy, no?

A traditional, German house near our hotel in Regensburg.  I think I was most fascinated by these quaint homes with old, stone walls and steeply sloping roofs.

The day after arriving, a sudden snow storm created the most beautiful landscape I’d ever seen.  I snapped this pic while entering the base at Hohenfels.

I’ll try to be dial-up friendly (although, it’s beyond me why some people still use dial-up these days) and not post too many photos per entry.  Therefore… more to come!
