for the new one

i haven’t revealed the new baby’s name yet. i like keeping that part to myself until they are born.

i think i did this for jace, so just doing it for this one too.

About The Mother

Name? dianna

Age? 26

Height? 5 6

Pre-pregnancy weight? i think it was 126

About The Father

Name? jeff

Age? 26

Height? 5 11

Are you still together? yup

About Your Pregnancy

Is this your first pregnancy? nope

When did you find out you were pregnant? endish of april, could look up the actual date, but too lazy.

Was it planned? not really. not trying, not stopping.

What was your first reaction? i kind of knew, so when it was positive, i was like “welp, there we go”

Who was with you when you found out? jeff and jace. we were just finishing up dinner i think.

Who was the first person you told? jeff apparently, he was right there

How did your parents react? everyone was happy for us.. once they figured out our subtle hinting

How far along are you? 34 weeks

What was your first symptom? barfing, as usual

What is your due date? jan 1

Do you know the sex of the baby? girl

Have you picked out names? have one ready

If so, what are they? secret!

How much weight have you gained? as of my last appointment (2 weeks ago), about 16 pounds

Do you have stretch marks? i have a couple tiny ones that jace gave me, so far i haven’t noticed any new ones from this girly

Have you felt the baby move? yep, sure hurts

Have you heard the heartbeat? yes

About the birth

Will you keep the baby? duh

Home or hospital birth? lovely hospital

Natural or medicated birth? i’m not thrilled at the prospect of that needle in my back, but when i remember how great it made jace’s birth, i can stand it a little better.

Who will be in the delivery room with you? jeff

Will you breastfeed? really not thrilled with that part either, but yeah, i’m pretty much signed up to do that until sometime in 2015, if it goes as well as it did with jace.

Do you think you’ll need a c-section? i really, really hope not. mom keeps remind me her two girls were both c sections.

Will you cry when you hold the baby for the first time? no idea. i didn’t cry when i held jace, but i was in shock from the whole ordeal. it’s a very strange thing to be a mom for the first time. this time i might realize what that baby entails since i love this toddler stage so much.

What’s the first thing you might say to him/her? i’m not even sure what i said to jace the first time. probably “heya!”

Would you let someone videotape the birth? gross

Are you excited about the birth, or scared? most of the time, i’m just ready to be at the part where i’m home and getting settled into the routine of a new baby with a toddler. other times, i realize “holy crap, i have to actually give birth again!” but i think it’ll be fine.

Haha, I love the “gross” answer! We took video of both and I’m glad we did. It was good to see once but I probably won’t watch again! Lol!
