overslept the first third of church. oops.

sunday school wasn’t too bad. jace is very wiggly.

he went with jeff for the last third, so i was actually able to learn.

can’t wait until he goes to nursery at the end of april.

i’m not sure what to do with him lately.

he doesn’t like to eat anything. he won’t eat beans, veggies, noodles, eggs.. i just keep thinking that he won’t go hungry on purpose, and then he surprises me by eating everything in sight for breakfast..

i also don’t know how to entertain him these days. i try to draw/color with him and he’s uninterested. we still can’t go outside because it’s snowy and cold (not to mention dark half of his day).. i admit i end up watching a lot of tv with him. meaning, it’s on in the background and he’s getting into trouble meanwhile. i also have him help with chores.. he feeds the cats for me and helps me sweep. we’re going to buy him a mini broom this week so he can help out. he loves that.

i’m struggling for more toddler appropriate things to do. i can’t wait until it warms up, we can go for walks, play on his slide (which i haven’t bought yet), draw on the sidewalk, pet the horses next door, go to the park.. he loves swimming so i plan to take him to the aquatic center and the reservoir a couple times.

i’m so bored of this valley. life is so much the same thing constantly and i wish i knew how to shake it up in a cheap way. i wish had some friends to hang out with.

i have to speak in church next week, so i guess i’ll put some effort into preparing that.

i also found a cross-stitching thingie i started when i was like.. 13, so i want to finish that. i’m also knitting jace a mini scarf since he loves mine. it’ll be summer before i get that thing done.
