Help.

Oh my gosh. This baby is trying to kill me. If you must be a daredevil baby, you could at least toughen up a little. Don’t climb that box unless you can fall and not scream for five minutes.

At least three new bruises just from this morning. Spent most of the morning (and she woke up an hour early because she got herself stuck again) screaming, being carried, or trying to injure herself. The exersaucer is good for keeping her safe, but she HATES it all of a sudden.

I don’t really know what to do with her anymore, aside from sticking her in the pack ‘n’ play all day and investing in ear plugs. Lots of ear plugs. How do you people with daredevil children do it?

Well i have 3 daredevils. I invest in hair color to hide the gray. And laugh at then when the door something crazy stupid and can’t fathom why the got hurt. Of course for the most part they all wear helmets 24/7.

Invest in bandages & alcohol… LOL

My son is like that-and he always has been. He has been walking since he was 8.5 months old too so lots of gray hair. He has had lots of bruises and bumps and complete with a chipped tooth at 18 months…there is really nothing you can do but correct them. We have 2 other kids too so trying to be RIGHT there with him isn’t always possible. Re-direction and helping them be interested in

good NOT evil. lol I feel like at almost 2 I am ALWAYS after him for doing something he isn’t suppose to so not that it gets easier. After 2 kids I never knew he could open doors complete with door knob kid locks at 1 or learn how to open “child proof” cabinets at 18 months. Heck at not even 2 he is into the refrigerator. Yeah I get my hair colored often.

We had a very boring living room and locks on every cabinet. Will she tolerate a Johnny Jumper?

Let her go. When she falls and cries, don’t baby her. If you see her fall, laugh a little and go “whoops!” or “boom!” and help her up. My middle nephew climbs everything, it only took a week or so of this to condition him to chill unless he’s actually hurt.

RYN: …then invest in lots of puffy hats. *g*

RYN: Yes, it is my favorite by far. My heart melts every time I look at it. I’m still not sure how I ended up with such a gorgeous baby! 🙂

RYN: I understand his frustration. I like sex too. He apologized when he got home from church. And he didn’t say, “I’m sorry you felt I…” he just apologize. As did I. So that was good. Maddie learned a new word today, “church”. She missed it.

went without me. Partially my choice but there was no way I was going to be able to get Maddie and I ready on my own without his help an he was unwilling to help.
