Spring II
One Day at a Time
Pear Tree in full bloom. Our tree is not the prettiest in the neighborhood, or on the block for that matter.
And . . .
. . . Hell no, the Dogwoods have not bloomed yet. Nothing has (except for Pear and a few shrubs). There is still plenty of spring left to go. Most of it. And tomorrow is the first day of March, so perhaps it didn’t come early at all.
Nothing but sticks . . . still. Well, you see some pine there, of course. Mostly, everything still looks dead. You can also see the very tops of some Azalea bushes in the below photo. They are still not blooming either. But of course our Azalea bushes have always looked putrid. Disease? So who knows.
Ah, I can see the tiniest of rose blooms on the rose bush, even though the prickly mess looks ravaged from winter. I thought Roses didn’t bloom until summer. Well, if well cared for we should be able to keep the blooms all summer.
I’m hoping for rain this evening. Should keep things moving right along . . . can’t wait until everything is GREEN.

Can you feel the jealousy? lol We haven’t seen anything green since it snowed on Dec 26. Not even kidding. We have had at least a foot covering the ground all that time. I am ready for Spring, too.
