What would have been super cool would be if this piano was in pristine condition, sitting on a sandbar, in the middle of the sea. As it was, it just looks like a piece of trash someone dumped there.

Not sure why I find this entry-worthy. I guess because when I heard about this originally, I had images of a beautiful piano, white sand, blue seas . . . it was a compelling image, an intriguing and beautiful one. Only in my head though. Only until I saw the video.

PS: Is that what passes for sand, on the east coast of Florida? Guess I’ve spent too much time on the other coast of Florida (west coast and panhandle).

PPS:  Obviously, I’ve never been to Miami.  If you are from Miami, please, no hate mail notes.

I think there is beauty in the decrepit. Personally I would have been offended if a beautiful instrument such as a baby grand were left to the elements of sand and salt and water and wind. It totally would have ruined it. Interesting visual though! 🙂
