Well I guess it’s a new year so I should at least write down what’s been going on lately. Last I wrote was before Halloween.
-Let’s see we did Superheros for Halloween. We didn’t win any of the contests, even if we should have. But it was a blast.
-I ended up with the flu the week of Thanksgiving. Worked through it but it was hell. My mother got it afterwords ended up with bronchitis and was in the hospital for a couple days.
-12/6 went with mother on a cruise to Cozumel. That was fun. I got a good price, free casino cash, and I didn’t spend more than my personal limit.
-Christmas never really happened. Mother and I didn’t do anything. I picked up a gift for my three women at work, BlondeBossLady, WorkWife, and NewGirl when I was in Cozumel. That was pretty much it. BlondeBossLady did get me a cute superhero calender, and then sneaked me a breakfast sandwich.
-BlondeBossLady and I have gone out drinking a few times. No one at work knows. Well that’s a lie. WorkWife has known since it started, and NewGirl I told last night. BlondeBossLady also seems to always put her foot in her mouth when we’re texting. Amuses me.
-I got my year review and a raise at work. And was told I’m constantly being fought over. BlondeBossLady actually went into my review, to make sure the manager didn’t screw me over. Oddly enough the manager didn’t. Was told I "have a bright future" at the company, and blah blah blah it was all good stuff.
-End of the year awards I got an unsung hero award. Apparently I’m an essential piece of the puzzle and other shit. BlondeBossLady claims she didn’t do it, so it must have been her boss.
-NewGirl was over last night for a mini party. More so the NonFamily-Family was over, so I made NewGirl come over.
-Since around the time I last wrote we’ve been flirty, suggestive, and all that. I made it clear that I was interested in her, and she never fully stated one way or another if she was interested in me. I gave her many ways out, told her to tell me back off, or let me know if she’s not comfortable with me being so… blunt about my interest. Would just say she didn’t get why I was interested.
-I kept at it though, slowly letting her get used to me and the idea. She’s a bit (okay 14 years) older than I am, never really been with another woman, and has kids and all that, plus we work together. So there’s always been a fair bit of stuff in the way of ever getting somewhere. But I finally convinced her to come over last night.
-We stayed outside most of the night just talking and drinking. Once the NonFamily- Family left and my mother went to bed she and I came inside. At some point I finally got her to kiss me. And we made out for a couple hours. On and off, she kept stopping me, I tend to get a little riled up. But I was good and respected her need to slow it down. I did get to second base though! Let me say the piercings were a nice pleasant surprise. I couldn’t convince her to stay the night, and I get that she wanted to go home and sleep in her own bed. I did get a goodbye kiss as she left. Or she hugged me and kissed me cheek, and I was all ‘uh that’s it really? on the cheek?’ So she walked back and I got a better kiss.
-No clue what’s going to happen. Not like we really discussed it. I’m just going to wing it. Figure I’ll act like I always do, and see if we can spend time together outside of work soon. Actually it might be easier now since they’re moving the seats around. Since we’re not going to be sitting next to each other it might give us the perfect amount of distance. I dunno, we’ll see what happens.
I may actually start trying to keep this thing more up to date. I’ve been reading other peoples, but never really have the time nor desire to write or even note. Sorry.
