OMG BABY!

There’s a newborn baby hamster in my cage. And I swear I thought Xena and Gabrielle were both girls. Hmm. Should I name the baby Eve or Hope? I think Xena is the mother, only because she’s the one who’s moving bedding around and Gabrielle is frolicking lalalala all over. So, Eve it is then. Is little Eve survives. Since I assume there would have been more than one baby, and either someone ate the others or, I dunno. Apparently dwarf hamsters the male actually tends to take part of taking care of the young, so I don’t have to seriously attempt to figure out which one is the male. Only problem is after birth the female can get pregnant again is at little as 24 hours.

I DO NOT WANT MORE BABIES!

And when did this baby happen? I swear it’s big enough to be at least three/four days old already, and no one noticed. I just fed and watered them a few hours ago, and never noticed a wiggling pink thing at all. I get up to shove a pen under the wheel ’cause they take all the food and put it in there to snack on while they run, and "OH MUH FUCKING GODS WHAT IS THAT!!!???? MOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMM!!!"

So confused.
