Spring Break? Cue the drugs!

Thank God it’s only a week.

Still, I have the daycare kids (plus an extra) AND my two! It’s enough to make any sane woman turn to mind altering substances. It’s only 9.21am and since 7am this morning all I’ve heard is "where are we going…?"

I’m about ready to kill Tylah.

So, a few quick update since my lovely neighbour brought me her laptop so I could do banking and a few other random bits a pieces.

*Another pound lost. Have joined Curves because it worked really well for me in Oz. Somethow I actually do weights when I’m there and it’s not as "errrrrrgh" as it is at a normal gym. It’s women only so no more drooling beefcakes to worry about. They were seriously getting on my nerves!!!

* Decided to buy two new computers. Eh, Jimmy has an Dell account that was nearly down to zero. For a home PC and a new laptop with all the features we wanted, we are looking at about $1400. Yeah yeah, it’s credit (not a fave of mine) BUT I got a quote on the other laptop and to fix it it would have cost nearly $300… The new laptop we’re getting Jimmy is a mini Dell  so he can take it to the sand pit  (Afghanistan) with him and it was only $399 so I think it was worth it.

They’re gonna back up our harddrive for $30 which works out easier. They’re also giving us $100 for a computer as is. I think we made out ok.

Still got a few more invites to send out. Don’t worry! They are coming to those who haven’t received them yet. Because of the postage cost for the plethora of international things I have to send, I was forced to stagger it.

Mmmmmm. Gotta get ot the P.O anyway because I have a bunch of doc’s to send the lawyers. April 7th is coming upon us fast… I can only hope that Sally doesn’t crap around anymore. Just about everyone I know is willing to inflict some level of violence on her. I’d say for her safety she needs to just shut the hell up.

Jimmy’s kids are coming on June 20th. They will stay for a couple weeks after he leaves and I’m hoping like crazy that I cope.

Oh yeah. Lost 2 daycare kids last week. Mother was an absolute nut job. This was the one who had the autistic son (that refuses to see the signs). In the end I’m just happy that thye are gone. They were so much work and my brain nearly blew up on a few occassions. I’m not taking any more on… I’m trying to work out how to wind down the operations – the unfortunate issue is that I like the three remaining kids. Bloody emotions get in the way of a good business arragement!!!

La-La-La… Ummmmmmm…

Oh, we rearranged the house on the week-end. Of course it’s still largely a bombsite but I think the new lay-out will work for us a lot better. We took back command of our master bedroom and evicted the girls. We sent  them to the basement because it’s huge and it gives them the whole bottom level. The middle level is lounge and dining and kitchen and the top level is ours: Master, Guestroom/study etc. I’m so happy with the extra space! Now all I need is a yard for those sorry dogs!!!

LOL. Best be off before I get accused of being unfriendly (or a computer addict!!!)
