huge catch up entry required here
let me see…
The little house in the little sea side town I was renting (consequence of my former partner going mad and driving me and the misters of our farm) got sold so we had to move.
I got offered a job helping to manage a small graphite mine 70 kms away.. but only 15 kms away from Port Lincoln where I used to live before I went farming with my ex.. so we moved house… again.. third time in two years.
Stupidly shifted ourselves. Two weeks, 10 car and trailer loads and several sprain injuries later we were in.
House is old and falling down and has no fenced yard or shed but is big, feels friendly, has two bathrooms and a view of the bay to die for.
Been here 8 months. Misters are both at a local private Catholic school. I am currently on my own at the mine as caretaker. I work part time.
Mister 16 suffers from chronic depression and anxiety but functions ok with drugs.
Mr 11 suffers a rare medical condition that causes weaknesses in his muscles and gets about on crutches to prop him up.
I still have my darling grumpy bear friend who has stood by me faithfully.
O and we had a bush fire on Nov 11 last year that made international news with koalas being rescued. But my Mum was saved and her house and my Mine office despite being burnt to the doorsteps.
It’s nice to be back on OD.. What’s everyone else here up to?
Hi, across the ditch there! I added you while you were away because “Tuffy” wondered what had happened to you, and assuned that you & I were bookmark favourites! We weren’t then, but after reading a few pages of your diary, I decided that we were gonna be! I so admire you, have a beaut day. ;D Emmi

Been missing you terribly. Wondering how you were. Not hearing from you so long had my mind in a Tizzy. I really don’t think you love me as much as you used too. Just remember: You me and Huey. LOL

Glad you are hanging in, and the bear friend is still around. Moving three times sounds like no fun at all though. I hope you are well my friend.

Hello, my dear, hope all is well, though I have kept an eye on you via FB. You certainly have a lot on your plate – and your support network seems very good. I’m glad about that. You are in those head down, bum up years. You get such enjoyment from your boys, and they from you. I hope the wheelchair thing works out OK .. SOON!

For **** sake you have a lot to deal with. The house sounds great! The kids are struggling and thats a worry for you. Your the caretaker of a mine, I can imagine that with your western hat, boots and perhaps a shotgun!!! So what have I been up too, not bushfires!!! FLOODS and then another flood, record flood this year. Pelican is safe, pontoon and alloy walkway safe, 9 mt woodwalkway slipped into river, rebuilding!!! Bonus this weekend going to the Town of 1770 and staying in a ‘Beach Shak’ with drop dead ocean views. Day trip by LARC to Bustard Head Lighthouse, stunning!!!!!!
