Well my mother-in-law, Joan, leaves this Thursday to go back to Illinois.  I’ll have a week and a half with my cast still on to care for Todd.  We’ll be quite the couple, him in his wheelchair, and me on my crutches!!!

We have a special church service to go to this upcoming Sunday afternoon, after spending all of the morning at church as well.  We have to go to Concordia Lutheran Church in Sarasota, Florida for a special Reformation Sunday service.  It should be pretty amazing!!  I’m looking forward to the afternoon, not so much the morning because we’ll have to get up at like 6:15-6:30 AM.  Not looking forward to that, but then I might as well start getting used to getting up early because I’ll be returning to work on November 6th.

What’s new with the foot though is it’s grinding inside.  I can kinda flex the foot and point it in the cast because the cast is so loose, and it grinds a bit.  I feel inside the foot it grinding.  I felt it this last appointment, last Monday, when he did an exam on it.  He lifted and pointed the foot and grinded then too.  I don’t think this is normal.  I didn’t say anything on Monday because I thought it was just the bones settling, but now I feel it all the time.  I don’t know what to do, if I need to call in tomorrow to the office or if I can wait until the 5th of November.  Hopefully I can wait.  I don’t feel like calling them again for them to take the damn cast off so they can put it back on if there’s nothing wrong with it.  I’m just concerned.  Don’t know quite what to do.  Just don’t want to be an inconvenience.  Plus the heel has some pain in it as well.  I JUST DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!!
