Traveling

So tomorrow we leave for our final trip to St. Louis, Missouri for Todd’s Pastoral Seminar for a week. We are packing tonight and getting everything ready. We are traveling with my mother-in-law, Joan, because Todd needs help and so do I, being on crutches and not being able to help Todd as best as I can. This should be interesting. 
 
My Mom, Nancy, was supposed to watch me this upcoming week. Joan was supposed to go to St. Louis with Todd while I was to stay with my Mom. But my mom, being ever so loving and caring, decided to tell me I basically was not welcomed to stay with her because my Aunt Jean was there and they’d have no room for me to sleep so she suggested I go with Joan and Todd, and did it in such a way that it was basically MY idea that I thought of. Clever, isn’t she? She’s still raving to everyone at church about how she’s such a great helper and is helping Todd and I out so much…..ahem, she’s been here four, FOUR, times since September 7. Yeah. And she doesn’t offer to help. I’m better off going to St. Louis with my mother-in-law and with Todd. 
 
There will be other Pastor’s wives at the Seminar and we have other activities planed with them as well. So Todd and I will be busy. Joan will occupy herself at the hotel or walk around. Granted we will all go out to eat each night. We did that last year. We all stayed at the same hotel as well so it made it easier. He has about 12 men in his cohort. And about 5 women are coming as well. I’ll get to see Ginger and Miriam too, they became fast and close friends with me last year. Miriam came the year before last year and we hung out. They both know about my eating disorder as well and have accepted me. They will both be proud I’m purge free for a year on the 11th or so.
 
My coworker, Heidi, is coming at taking care of my animals, Kay kitty and th dog Lady Lou. Heidi lives down the street from me and has all the instructions to get into the house and play with the animals. Her daughter Kamryn is also helping her too. She said she’s excited to play with my animals. She has two cats of her own. But someone else’s pets are always fun too.
