KISS Is coming to NZ … Yeahaaa

Plans have been announced for a two-day rock concert at Wellington’s Westpac Stadium next Easter. It is being organised by Wellington-based promoter Capital C Concerts, who are already bringing Elton John and Bon Jovi to New Zealand this summer for one-off concerts.

The Wellington gig will feature the band Kiss, starring Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley.

Promoter Phil Sprey says the other acts will be announced shortly, but he is promising a unique Rocktacular, with a landmark special effects package.

this time of year there seems to be heaps of big overseas names coming here for concerts. I rarely hear of them as I rarely get a paper and don’t follow the music scene much… but please let me know if you ever hear of Leonard Cohen or Rod McKuen ( seen him here twice before) coming….thanks and smiles… P
