It is aliiiive!

Actually, this is just a quick not to let everyone know that I’m still alive. Frankly, between trying to keep up the house and trying to keep up at work, I seem to be too exhausted lately to even read entries, let alone write them.  After reading  if ever’s note, I thought maybe I’d better let you all know that I’m still around and not lying in the hospital somewhere.

On the work front, it looks like they may be selling my division to another company. My employer has recommended that the new people keep me on (after all, I AM the counselor they have now) but the question will be IF I want to work for this new company. All this could be taking place in the next month or so. The good news is that the new company is talking about hiring another counselor (of course I heard this through the grapevine, so….who knows). If they do, that could mean a much easier time for me. It could be easier either way, though. The software we have doesn’t do the job properly and if we go to this new company, they have tried and tested software that works! Also, some of the mundane stuff I have to do will be done in the corporate office. Only time will tell.
