Ahahahaha…LIFE.
Ahhh… it’s actually a good morning. 🙂 I didn’t get up until about a half an hour ago, but am sipping on some coffee, chatting with friends before I go to the gym and then work. 🙂
My mind is kind of scatter brained…so I need to get it out there.
SCHOOL 🙂
Well, after a lot of consideration, I finally came to the conclusion that I need to get my teaching degree. UGH…sometimes I wish I would catch onto things a little SOONER! I actually kind of have been lying to myself, since pretty much Day 1, about not wanting to be a teacher. So, I went the business route. Which, ultimately, wasn’t stupid because I got a degree but was stupid in the sense that I HATE BUSINESS.
So anyway, decided to take matters into my own hands. I called the Education Advisor at State and set up a meeting with her. Let me remind you State is ACROSS THE DAMN STATE from Big City. So that was a LONG trip. But anyway, talked to her, talked to the English Advisor as I want to get my secondary ed degree in English, and it’s actually going to work out. 🙂 I’m…relieved. Extremely relieved.
More because it’s what I GENUINELY want to do. I want to ultimately be a Career and Technical Ed teacher, and maybe have it lead to being a counselor at a high school or something, but for now, just getting my Ed degree would be great! And of course, COACH! Excited for that!
NEW JOB!!! 🙂
I had been searching around Craigslist for a part-time job so as to somewhat supplement my income… so I had come across a volunteer volleyball coaching thing. Ha, not exactly a supplement to my income as it was VOLUNTEER, but I thought you know what? Why not help out. So I called, and the head person was out of the office but the receptionist took down my information and said she would call me on Monday. She didn’t call, so I called back. She said the positions for the clinicians had already been filled–and those were the paid positions! So I was like well, thanks for the opportunity anyway! But she actually asked me a bunch of questions regarding my volleyball experience, coaching, yada yada yada–and then yesterday, I got an email from her offering me the clinician job! I was overly excited! It’s not much money, but it’ll be about $400 for the season! Not terrible! And it’s only four hours a week for eight weeks. So yeah…DEFINITELY not bad. Haha.
MONEY 🙁
Thanks to my wonderful ex-boyfriend who made me spend ALL of my money two weeks ago on his grad and now I am left broke, I have -$30 something dollars in my bank account. Which is GOING to be tough, ESPECIALLY since I don’t get paid until Tuesday.
But guess what?! On Tuesday, I have to pay $170 something dollars in student loans as I had them COLLECT on me?! FRICK! So that’s AUTOMATICALLY coming out of my account on Tuesday unless I can find SOMEWAY to defer them…which, is by telling them I am going back to school! Which I AM! But I still have to re-apply as a former student, AND, I can’t sign up for classes until August?!
Oh shit. What am I gonna do.
On top of that, got another speeding ticket, and am currently four parking tickets deep.
NOW HERE COMES THE FUN PART OF ALL OF THESE CHANGES…
With SCHOOL… I will be moving BACK across the State after moving to Big City; not to mention, will have to find a place to live, get out of my lease EARLY here in Big City. Which requires money. WHICH I HAVE NONE! OMG.
Also have to take the State Teaching Test, as well as acquire 80 hours of working with kids before I apply for the program, which won’t be a problem.
I am SO scared of what my parents are going to do. They have been supporting me for the past year in my trials and struggles…and I feel like I haven’t learned my lessons. Well I have, but I still seem to be WAY behind. UGH. The thing is, I SHOULD have just went back to WSU this spring! Then MAYBE, I’d still be with Deric and life would be good! Oh well…forget the Deric thing, haha. But you know what?! I’ll get it figured out. I will.
Another thing is with my new job, I have orientation for it TWO days that I have to WORK! UGH! I may just ask for it off. Actually, I will have to ask for it off. This volleyball thing will NOT ONLY be fun, but also will be a great opportunity and I can get my hours for the ed program!
SIDE NOTE: Just talked to my Mom… they just sound so annoyed with me. LOL. Due in large part to my perfect brother. Well, at least they were 1 for 2 in the kid department. :/ Yikes.
Alright, time to hit the gym, tanning, then probably the library to get things
done.
Much love everyone!
