Relay Stuff

Whew, doggies. I am TIRED. I’m co-chair of the survivorship committee for our county’s Relay For Life, and tonight we held the first of two receptions for survivors. It was very good, but I’m so tired. And we have to do it all over again on Monday night. Yikes!

It was rather an emotional night for me, because our Relay is dedicated to our dear friend and committee member who passed away last July. I had to speak about her, and it was hard. And then I had to introduce my oncologist, who was the speaker for the night. He was wonderful!

I hope I can get some rest this weekend.
