ken’s evening.

ken and i adventured this evening. it’s been too long.

we drove and drove and drove and ended up at the berling turnpike 6 times. hah. and i think we entered new britain at least 10. but, ken has heated seats and a mind full of laughter, so it was just fine with me. our purpose, however, was dinner. so, we found ourselves at Luna Pizza in west hartford. we wanted a drink. only beer or wine was what was there. and both were far too expensive, so we ate a carnivorous pizza and headed out in search of alcohol.

now, i told ken a funny story about how lady and i once went to Olive Garden with the sole purpose of drinking. no eating.. we just sat at the bar at the Olive Garden. we SCREAM "alcoholics." so, being that everything is slightly more insane with ken, we passed a chinese restaurant. we debated going there simply to drink. really, who does that? we questioned it and questioned it.. drove past it and saw a neon sign that said "full bar."  okay, that was the answer to that. we walked in, surrounded ourselves in alcohol and free wontons. we had, i think, three drinks each. and i’ve you ever drank anything from a chinese menu, holy hell, they’re like fire. we laughed too loudly. and people stared at us. but we simply kept drinking. we left PLASTERED. plastered idiots. so plastered, that we couldn’t even get IN the car, let alone one of us drive. so, we walked to Borders in the same plaza and stumbled around and looked at things until the worst of it had worn off. i talked to a man who didn’t know what a haiku was (i discovered lots of people today that don’t know what they are). and ken bought me Sarah’s christmas album.

slowly
getting
sober..

we drove to target because i needed hair dye. i got my hair cut again today and plan to do a little shocking when i go home for this great day of thanks (>puke<).

now, i’m still buzzed and greatly stoned. and there was much more i planned to write in here, because i haven’t written in so long. but, sadly, i have forgotten it all.

happy upcoming holidays.
