TIME FOR CHANGE
I am on my way home from Florida. It was a great four months but packing up and leaving is stressful.
I am in Georgia. The day went suprisingly well. I wasn’t tired at all. Usually I have to stop for a nap.
Anyhow while I was driving I decided that I need/ want to make some changes in my life.
I want to travel!
I want top stay in better touch with family and friends.
I want to make NEW friends.
I want to appreciate my life.
I want to be less critical.
I want to eat better.
HERE’S HOW I WILL DO EACH ONE:
- I want to travel. I am hoping to go to London, England in the Spring. Maybe I’ll go on a cruise to Alaska with my grandson in the summer. I will talk to friends and family to see if everyone wants to travel with me.
- I want to stay in better touch with my family. I will call everyone once a week and try to get together at least once a week with each one. I will call and not worry about what we will talk about. I will ask them to come over to spend time with me playing games.
- I will speak to others when I take classes. I will suggest going out for lunch together etc. I will arrange for a card game at my home on a regular basis. Maybe SAMBA one . night and Mah Jongg another.
- Everyday I will think about all I have and pay special attention to what I have.
- I will be more accepting of how others live their life.
- I will have a salad at least once a day.
I know it will not be easy but if I want my life to be better and happier I need to make these changes.
I will also start going swimming again. Every other day so three times a week.
I want to be more active in my synagogue.
Looks like I have plenty to do when I get home. Hopefully I will be home on Saturday. Of course it all depends on the weather. First thing when I arrive home will be unpacking and getting ready for Passover.
One of my biggest changes will be to JUST BE HAPPY AND APPRECIATE. I HAVE TO BE POSITIVE.
I have lunch every week with my siblings. It is the highlight of my week. Good luck with your goals.

Sounds like a great plan! I just got a text from one of my grandsons. He and I and another grandson are going to Alaska this summer to see my son who lives in Ketchikan. I went in 2016 and absolutely loved it!
