Old School Hollywood

4 days, to relax. Im not working Friday, and Monday is a public holiday, the first I’ve taken off since god knows when.

Gentlemen Jack is in the house!!!! So is the tunes, and EVE, and until she went to work, the love of my life, Aimee Silver*sighs*

I haven’t relaxed in a while. Sure, associating alcohol with relaxation is probably wrong, but I need it. I havent had a drink like this in ages. Im not binging, just pacing, but fuck the feeling is great. "Air singing" to System of a Down, drinking a nice bourbon. thinking of things to come, and blowing shit up… This is the life hehehe. Now all i have to do is contact Blind Archer,  and take his arse on a "why Harley’s are usless" Ride. That would involve corners *falls over laughing*

I left this out, although Aimee managed to suck it outta me. Bout a week and a bit ago,  Jeep Cherroke tried to move into my lane ontop of me, gunning Vee-twin and horn resulted in her hand over her mouth in shock and me realising I have much more to lose than the skin and brain cells.

I have an MSN friend who reckons that I should sell Blasphemy for a car…fuck that. How is it safer? A delusion that a tonne of metal will save me? Apart from MY OWN fuckups, I shouldn’t have to worry about other drivers, but this is life and we must deal….So hand me a Glock 18 and 3 30rnd mags… shit’ll get sorted ASAP *evil chuckles*

Anywho my fav kiddies, EVE should be up n running after downtime *watches Vee sigh and mutter*and I have a new ship to toy with.

Take care my friends

haha – you really don’t think a bike is safer than a car? Obviously Im not biased against motorbikes, but the same crash that has the car driver moaning about their dinted bumper has the biker smeared on the pavement. I’ve had three crashes, and while one was a jump crash on a motocross bike (and sorta my fault) the others were caused by cars. There is really no accounting for some car drivers

Personally I do as much as I can to idiot-proof myself, you know, big following distance, never go parallel or too close to a car in dual lanes… Even then I still have a scare every now and then! Had one similar to the one you had, if I hadn’t seen it coming and braked…

RYN: Ok #1- I called it, like it was. I pointed out a racist comment, it was just that. #2- I never insinuated that he was not a good person at all. & #3- He and I had a rather enlightened conversation, other than that singular comment we agreed on basically the same point of view.

Yep, I totally agree. Car drivers don’t look out for bikes and the majority of motorbike accidents are caused by cars. When people say that motorbikes are dangerous, they’re wrong, it’s car drivers who are dangerous! If all car drivers were made to ride a motorbike for a short while, their awareness would increase so much and they’d be a lot more careful in looking for us.

You shouldn’t have to swap your bike for a car because of other people’s negligence, it’s madness! As long as you’re wearing all the correct kit, which you do, you’ll be ok if you have an off, which hopefully wouldn’t happen, but if it did, we should hope it would teach the driver a lesson to look more carefully in the future! Oh and, System, good choice in music, although they do suck live.
