The Sea Creatures Always Say..
I had a pretty random ass thought this morning while I was in the shower. Is a person who picks or harvests potatoes called a potator? I really hope so.
Anyway…
I dreampt about a talking shark last night. He had light blue and white gingham skin. He looked some what like Bruce from Finding Nemo, but he didn’t speak in an Australian accent. I was under the sea with him and I think he was telling me something of importance, but I can’t remember what it was. I think it may have been something about the treasure chest that was between the middle of us. Im glad the shark didn'[t eat me, it would have made for a sad ending to a pretty cool dream.
And speaking of Finding Nemo, on Friday at work, Ada said I was just like Dori. Thats how she described me to Cindy. I can’t say I disagree, except im not blue black and yellow. And Im not a fish, But if I were a marine dweller, I would like to look like Dori. At least I wasn’t compared to one of the pelicans!
..Keeping up with the sea theme for the day..
While getting gas this evening….
…Becuase patiently waiting for two muinutes while the gas pumps is out of the question, and because I must find some sort of activity to occupy the time…
I looked all around to see what I could get into and saw this…
…Well for starters the colors captured my attention, but just taking a quick snap shot wasn’t what occupied my time….
What occupied my time was what my mind saw this scene as..
A land walking, sky flying, sea swimming Giant Octozilla. So after the character was established I gave it a quick back story…..
Octozilla is feared by the humans living in the area. (Who wouldn’t be afraid of him, hes not natural.) They fear that when he comes on land, he will knock over almost everything with just one swipe of a tentacle. And If it only takes one tentacle to make a mess, imagine the damge of all eight swinging tentacles. People fear his size. They fear the black goo thats left behind in his wake. They fear he is full of poison. What the humans don’t know is that Octozilla is only his species name. His real name is shamus, and he is harmless. He only comes on land to rescue birds who are in peral. Shamus would be a great friend to everbody if he was just givin the chance. Unfortionately he hasn’t been given that chance yet, so if his face looks mean it only means he is feeling sad and lonely. He has grown to fear humans because of what they have said about him. They have always said mean things. He uses that face to keep the humans at bay, he is tired of being missunderstood.
And then my gas was finished pumping.
One last sea thing…
The other day I went to the used book store. I love it there because you can find some really good and interesting things. As I was rummiging through a mess of books and things, I found this..
Of course I was drawn to it. Its a damn dvd wrapped in plastic wrap like dinner leftovers. It only got better when I saw the title of the dvd, Its called Octopus 2: River Of Fear. That right there sealed the deal (no pun intended) I just had to have it out of shear curiosity. It wasn’t even a dollar so if its really awful its no big deal. I could always reuse the plastic wrap at least!
That is the scariest gawd dayum water tower, EVER!!!
