Whoa, remember the show Kyle XY?

Don’t ask where that one came from. I don’t know, it just popped in my head. Thats not how I planned on starting this entry.

Kyle XY was pretty nice to look at.

Anyway….

The last day of summer camp was today. That gets a big thumbs down from me. I really do love camp! I know I have complained about it a lot, but its fun, and the kids are so awesome, and I just love it! It was hard to have to say good bye to the kids I knew well. Im so used to having them with me during the school year and summer camp. I gave them big hugs, and then wanted to cry. Im such a sap. I am excited to start my new job, but I still don’t want to leave some of the kids behind. I going to miss them! 🙁

The kids have left camp, but instead of bringing the mess home with them, they left it behind for us to clean. Yay! Thanks for that parting gift. haha. We give you little treasures and cookies, and you give us the aftermath. No, really they gave us love and fun and a lot of other wonderful things. And now Im going to be a sappy sorry person again thinking about that. Which is why Im now going to continue with the messy part and pretend to be angry. Stupid lame kids…

Okay its working for me. Camp clean up is a pain in the ass. We really only used two rooms, but damn if they didn’t get destroyed! I work with Ada, who I adore! But the two of us together usually ends in a situation like this. We are both beyond scatter brained and felt the need to bring in a million differen’t things of our own personal belongings for those "just in case" moments. Which is another thing that ends badly because we are both very absent minded and misplace just about everything, which make us bring in more things…see the cycle here. I think thats why Ada and I get along so easily though. We have the same mind set, and between us have no left brains. Its easy to say things get done somewhat differently but they do get done. Thats all that matters right? I have so much crap that I will have to tote home again. I’m not looking forward to that. I also hate that we have to put the rooms back together the way we found them. Thats not an easy thing to do. It should be an easy task, but it dosen’t seem to be easy for us. Oh well!

I also just love how the kids like to hide and stash the most random of things. If a piece to a toy is missing, its most likely due to the fact that the kids have hidden it. This makes it hard to clean and sort things because we are always looking for the missing parts

Well od just erased the rest of the entry, and Im not happy about that, so whatever I typed is gone and Im not about to retype it…lame
