Wash me clean let me be clean

Showers

They wash away the dirty from my skin
After a shower I always feel so senstive and pure
I think this is because I scrub so hard.

I wish showers made me pure again
I know it is not possilbe

But I use to be pure and innocent
Now I am just naive and lost… and used

If there were water that could make me like I was before
I would do it all over again but different
Since now I am all the wiser

But that can never be
so why waste time thinking
about the what nevers
