I got a new job!
Wooooo!!!

 and this job is awesome, its the job that I never thought I would get.
Its the job that I have always thought would be amazing to get.

And I got it!
Me!
Yay Me!!!

My current boss got the shits and hasn’t talked to me since, which is comical, seeing as he was the one that told me about the job I the first place.
He can be a real ass though, he has small man syndrome, like so many of the bosses I have worked under.
I’m not sure what he was expecting, I am only a casual, and I will be the first person to get cut back when the wet comes back in.
Its ok now, I’m averaging about 40-60 hours a week, but it has died off already and its only 2 months to go until the quiet season is back.
This new job is permanent full time, those jobs in this seasonal town are as rare as hens teeth, so to get a job here that offers that security is fantastic.  The rent here is reasonable, much cheaper than Sydney and Darwin.. lol

I was almost going to go back to Sydney, but now this has happened, I’m set to stick around for a couple of years now.

Now my dilemma is a car.
help me out here.

Do I go for my dream car?
A Mini Cabrio.

Pros…

Its been my dream car since it came out in 2005
I wouldn’t be looking at selling it in the long term.
It would be a awesome car to have and to drive
Its better built & has a better engine

Cons…

Will have to buy from Syd or Brisbane.
Average cost $27000
More expensive to service and repair.
More expensive to insure.
Would be 5 years old and have about 50,000-80,000kms on the clock already

BUT I ADORE THEM!!

Or

Get a Hyundai i20

Pros’

Cheaper at about $18,000
Cheap to run, on gas and to service and insure.
Would be new car with new car warranty.
Won best small car and eco car this year.

Cons,

It would just be a run a bout. Its nice, but its not my dream car
I would possibly end up selling it in a couple of years time.
I’d still dream about owning a Mini.
