Hate 2 see u lyin’ there in your Superman skivvies
So how important is a name to you when you are meeting people.
As you know I am back in the internet dating scene, (coz we all know how well that worked out last time… well hopefully he won’t have monogamy issues) and when you first contact people, its normally by a handle… a fake name.
Then you learn there real name after a couple of lines or after a few convo’s.
The last 2 I contacted where bothSteves.
Which just makes me laugh,
because I have had an influx of Steves in my life, lately.
(ones a no, ones a yes, but living in Vic.)
But I met someone else
( and of course its all just in the talk phase),
but I meet him, think he’s really cute, talked to him on the phone and oh, his voice is sexy.
But his name is Rod.
Lol, I told the guys at work, who are living vicariously through me as I am dating, A & T have been married for 17 and 14 years, & S has been with her partner for 6 years… so they are full of questions about my life.
But when I said "Rod" when they asked me his name there was a collective groan.
and all I could say was "I know!"
Names mean alot, I’m not sure if they "say" alot about someone, but there are some names that just aren’t good.
Ie: Nigel, Wayne, Dwayne, not fond of Gary…hmmm.
Names and voices are important to me to.
I get put off by a guy with a highish pitched voice.
I like them to be manly.
Not that I am going to be put off this guy coz his names Rod, but yeah.
lol.
Meeting up on Weds.
Oh forgot to ask him how tall he was…
I can’t date a man shorter than me, or actually even close to my height.
Ike was 6’4", my ex hubby Steve was 6’5",
I have had a couple of other boyfriends over 6 foot, but never below prob 5’10"…
Hmmm, interesting.
Kip
Rod is 5’11″… yay height safe!!

i’m 5’5″. my girlfriend is 6′. we manage to make it work 🙂 and i’d say name isn’t all that important…how he carries it is the important part. 🙂 ~
