He finally called!!! YAY!!! The reason he hadn’t called before is because they changed his duty to something where he hasn’t had any opportunities.  I was so totally thrilled though.  I heard the phone ringing and I was thinking, this is an ungodly hour so it must be something good.  and it was!!!  Hearing his voice totally changed my whole perspective.  It’s like I can do this now.  I’m ok, because he’s ok.  I was trying really hard not to ask specific questions about the base or what he’s doing because I didn’t want to get him in trouble.  I just chattered mindlessly about silly things and about dinner and shaving melissas head( totally shaved a girls head yesterday) and talking to Katie.  He said that Afghanistan is really hot and that the food is alright, although kind of weird sometimes.  I’m so excited to send him a care package.  Now that I know how things are there I can tailor my stuff I send him to be more things he will use.   Today I’m going to go get an APO/FPO box at the post office so i can start filling it up. 
Squeals! I’m so happy.  It’s rediculous how much I’m in love with that man. 
Anyway, I was up until 130 talking to Katie, then Zakk called at 3:30 so I’m a little tired, but so freaking ecstatic it doesn’t even matter.
