Office work

I had my fifth visit with my other therapist tonight and when I showed up he had a letter of recommendation for surgery waiting for me.  I think we both knew that these five visits were really just a technicality.  But now it is official.  I have two letters and I can actually schedule my surgery.  I will call them tomorrow and get them a copy of the letter as quickly as possible.

I’ve applied for a few office positions without much enthusiasm and much to my surprise I have been called in for an interview at one of them.  It would be a part time thing which I could schedule around my classes, so that would be good.  But it’s not anything special, just office work.  I guess I should be happy with anything considering how many people are unemployed right now.

I’m going to go shopping tomorrow for an interview outfit and I’m actually really looking forward to it.  I haven’t bought any new clothes for myself in a very long time.  I want to buy something nice that I can wear to the interview, but not so nice that I can’t just wear it regularly as well.  

Megan is coming up to "visit" indefinitely.  She’ll be here in a few weeks and stay until after the baby is born.  I suspect she’ll be staying here with me since I now have an extra bedroom.  It will be good to have her around for a while but I’m sure I’ll get sick of her pretty quickly.  She’s very clingy when she is here and I enjoy having space.
