So much was left unsaid,

Get to thinkin about it all the time,

So much was left undone,

Missed my chances, that’s the way it goes,

Got to just keep on, I know.

You said you didn’t love me,

It hurt more than I would have thought,

I knew it was true but didn’t hear,

I’ve grown bigger than to forget the tears.

People push me round,

And it’s hard to keep on standing

When there are so many in this crowd,

Take too much in and let too little out,

It’s just the way I’ve learned to live,

Thinking about what the people say,

And there is so much people expect,

From life and twice as much of others,

There are those who have no shame.

We gotta stand and be as true

As we can to those we love and ourselves,
