College Bound and Thoughts on War

Well, this week has been boring and uneventful. My trip to Indiana was great and there are a lot of potential theatre building experiences I’m lined up for. (I’ve almost sealed the deal to be a competitor next year as well as being the lead male in the first play next year, wow I’m ahead of myself.)

There’s a lot of Red Barn stuff and St. Croix Valley stuff I have to audition for along with the chance to maybe go to WTA, though I don’t think I will now that February is so full of things.

Well, to be honest, I’ve almost given up on Lindsey. Not that I”m not going to tell her, I will whenever I finally get a hold of her, but she has blown me off a few times and it’s really pissed me off. I can’t STAND being blown off and I’m starting to get really angry when people do it.

Movie Reviews for Recently:

Blood Work is all right. I was dissapointed with how easily I guessed who the killer was. It’s pretty slow in its overall moving, however, and was just a rather generic murder mystery.

XXX was worse watching it this last time. It got boring and the plot really is awful, along with most of the acting. Even Samuel L is not very good…..wait, he’s bad. There we are, that fits the review better.

Who is Cletus Tout? is an excellent movie. Let me just say that I loved it, though I wish I could see more of Richard Dreyfuss in movies these days. Big Trouble is also an excellent movie and Tim Allen has sold me for sure on all his movies. I think I watched another, but I can’t remember what it was.

Back to college tomorrow. My emails down right now which means I’ll have 1000 messages when I get back, all Spam, nobody ever emails me either….bastards…;)

Now here’s just a little ranting I thought I’d put in here. It’s about war and the things that are going on.

I’m not in support of war. I don’t like thinking about all the lives that are being lost and I feel bad that I really don’t have the build or inclination to put my life on the line like these guys do. I hope the draft isn’t reinstated by that fruity damn Senator. First of all, he wants to start the draft up because there are two many minorities in the military. Here are my problems with this:

1) Firstly, it’s volunteer now. So they chose to be in the army moron. Why should we force people to be in an army that is the most powerful already and most numerous? That doesn’t make any sense and it will take away a large portion of our youth.

2) Secondly, 25% of the entire military force is made up of minorities. Which means 75% are white. Can I ask how you think that means that there are too many minorities in the military? I think that it’s pretty even if you ask me, at least from minority standpoints.
