It’s 12:01 on Jan. 1st, waddaya think?

Well, happy New Years to all, I tried to sprinkle some New Years wishes, even to Enchantment who insulted LOTR…;)

We had a great New Years shindig, though Lindsey didn’t call me like she should have. Instead, we played charades which the kids beat the parents, then Trivial Pursuit which was basically all the parents vs. Greg and I as Robert and Rachel don’t do much. I also happen to have a knack for picking the wrong answer of two. We also watched a movie called Big Trouble, which was incredibly hilarious! Oh my gosh it was funny.

Also, a quick movie review: Catch Me if You Can is brilliant! This is some beautifully shot and scripted work. I think this is one of the greater films of the times because it is the most light-hearted realistic drama I have ever seen and the detail of the cons and the lives lead are so unique and amazing…I really can’t rave enough about this movie. Also, John Williams makes a departure from his original generic score and really captures the cat and mouse feel of this movie. A 5 out of 5 hands down.

Anyway, so what’s a New Year without resolutions? So there’s a good a list and a not really real list….guess which is which.

5. I promise not to set my pets on fire…..(I can’t do that one anymore for obvious reasons…haha…cough)

4. I promise to lose that undesired 140 lbs. aka my brother.

3. I shall not use the lord’s name in vain anymore. I mean, Jesus, I should be able to do that………doh!

2. I promise to be more honest to all those snot-sucking dooshbags that I pretend are my friends. I mean, what a bunch of lousy idiots they all are, I mean really….they all are going to be bums someday so I might as well tell them off and stop wasting my time.

1. I promise to be an optimist and see the good in people….

And the other list:

5. I promise to focus and write some scripts.

4. I promise to work hard at getting a job for the summer.

3. I promise to try and not kill Mike on this trip to Indiana.

2. I promise to pursue Lindsey and always be honest and a go-getter in the area of love.

1. I promise to not get so down on myself.

Well that’s all she wrote….or I wrote…or he wrote….or they wrote….depending on the tense and the diagnosis on my mental state. Tata….have a good year all!

2003 doesn’t seem so different from the year before. i think i’m gonna hold off a few weeks on my resolutions. lol

ryns: you can ask how old i am, but i won’t tell you. lol let’s see, i’ve been done with college for awhile, but not long enough to want to go back. d.g. is going to 400-450 pages, and i’m at about 120-150 pages now. 🙂

I came to your diary through Enchantments…because you asked her how old she was. I was wondering but she won’t tell me and I talk to her all the time :(. It’s okay though. lol, did her hint help you? I found your diary entry quite amusing btw. I don’t write resolutions, I don’t think I’m mature enough yet. Well see ya, Cori

I hope your year is as good as you want it to be! My new years resolution is to be healthy…for a little while anyway. :o)

Hehehe…those are some good resolutions and rather witty. Happy New Year to you too! I don’t know if I’ll make resolutions (I try to be different). Maybe I will but won’t post them. Mine are the typical lose weight, be more organized bullshit that will likely not happen. Hope you are having a good vacation. When do you go back to school?
