So, I decided that I was going to want another job this summer since Josh will be gone and we are getting an apartment so I am going to need the money.

So, in February I applied for this internship job at the Seneca Niagara Casino by me.  I decided to just do the internship because it has a maximum amount of time you can be there which is good because I would have to leave at the end of August anyway because of school. So it was perfect, a minimum of 6 weeks and a maximum of 3 months.  Perfect! It started at $10 an hour and it wasn’t just another bullshit job, I would actually going to gain experience in the management field.  Not just work as a hostess to get by.

I called and called and called and no one was calling me back so I figured that nothing happened and I didn’t fit what they needed which didn’t make sense to me because I have a 3.87 cummulative GPA, 3 years experience from the Holiday Inn, and I am a hospitality major.  What is there not to like about me?! lol j/k.

I have my advisor for a couple classes and she was always asking me about the casino and if anyone ever called back and my answer to her was always "no".  It was so disappointing!

Last night I get a call on my cell phone from my area code and I did not recognize the number so I pick up and it is the guy from the CASINO!!! I couldn’t believe it.  I thought I was done with that!  So we talked and I have an interview at 1 on Saturday!! I can’t believe it!

I am going to need to work with my current boss about hours and make sure that everything works.  I can see this casino job being in the morning.  So, maybe I will be strictly nights at the HI? and weekends? I’m not sure. I have to wait and see what this guy at the casino says I will be doing.

I am so happy. I wanted to get a second job because I need the money so much and I need to keep busy and the casino is a good choice because it is very relevant to my major.  Not that I wouldn’t want to work there, but I was just going to apply at American Eagle or something.  Just a mindless job that I wouldn’t feel guilty about leaving in August that also has nothing to do with what I want to be.

This casino job, like I said is perfect!  Wow, I keep acting like I have the job.  I just have an interview, but thats the first step right?!

Anyway,

I have class at 930 where I have a test, I have my gym test at 11, and I have to listen to presentations at 1 and then I have a "wrap-up" class at 2 so that won’t take very long.  I am going to be so busy tonight.

Just a list of stuff that needs to be done or will be done by Saturday:

-Tahnees scrapbook! This is the most important!! Because Josh said he would pay for shipping so I want to get it done before he leaves.
-Packing…ALLLLLLLLLLL my crap and joshs for that matter
-clean the rooms
-have an RA check us out
-Have class tomorrow morning at 9am
-an exam at 1pm tomorrow
-home tomorrow after that around 2.
-unpack cars
-go to josh’s moms
Saturday-
-take josh to the airport
-go home get some more sleep
-get up, shower
-buy new work shoes
-interview at 1
-work at HI at 3-close.
then I know I am on the schedule for Sunday.

My daddy will be here tonight! YAY! And the Sabres are going to kick Ottawas ass in the first game of the eastern conference finals!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO and I have to go check in my dad at the hotel. 

LETS GO SABRES!!!!!!!!!

Well, I have a test in about 50 minutes, so I need to go over my notes again! Hope everyone has a great weekend If I don’t get back on here.  Hopefully I will be back on Saturday night to tell you all how my interview went.
