The Shred.
So I jumped on the bandwagon yesterday and picked up the 30 Day Shred DVD by Jillian Michaels and a couple of 2 pound hand weights, came home and threw it in.. Thinking 20 minutes, this is no big deal…
OMG!! was i wrong! That workout is seriously no joke!! I was sweating like crazy by the time the 20 minutes and my body felt super tired and my legs didn’t want to work correctly when i walked upstairs. My arms did not want to hold my blow dryer up above my head.. lol! all This from a 20 minute workout?!?!
I seriously can’t believe how much it kicked my ass.. I mean i can go to zumba for an hour and not get really sore,, but 20 minutes.. and all my muscles are screaming in pain the next morning..
this is going to be an effective, yet painful, 30 days.
*limps away*
It rocks! I haven’t been able to do it in the last while since I’m sick, but I am praying I get well soon so I can start back up!

Yeah she’s no joke. She has so far been the only dvd workout that has successfully kicked my butt everytime Ive done it. The soreness is incredible. I didnt even get that sore when I worked with my personal trainer. LOL

ryn: Yes, although I did gain weight…although it was because i gained muscle. I did lose a couple inches off my waist/hips…..and I feel more toned.

Yeah, I was never able to finish the entire 20 minutes…even after a month of doing it!
