PMS + Lack of snow day = grump!

Yeah, so i’m a grump today. 

Work was fine, but a couple minor things almost threw me into a panic attack.  One was simply figuring out how i want to plan out this next unit.  Yeah, not panic worthy. 

Then, of course, there’s the fact that when i’m not at work the hatred and loathing i feel for that place diminishes, it is replaced by a reluctant acceptance and appreciation for pay and good benefits.  Then, when i enter it again… well, you can guess.  This was only compounded by the fact that I’d had a glorious 11 days off..

I was trying to figure out why I am so cranky today.. well then i realized it.. AF is on her merry way.  soon i hope, i hate PMS anxiety.

So today, as I did this weekend, I spent more time applying to out-of-state teaching positions.  Yes, we are seriously going to move if I get a job offer somewhere.  I’m nervous about it, since here is all I know, but I can’t keep waiting for my "career home" to show up here since it just isn’t happening.  So far I’m concentrating on the Carolinas and Florida.  I’m also considering applying to Arizona.  I could use some dry heat in my life to counteract the 3 feet of snow outside my door!  So if anyone has any tips/connections or whatever that they want to share about these areas or teaching in them.. let me know.

My mom is still not doing well.. I only got to talk to her for a couple minute today.. She was in the middle of watching a movie at my grandparents house.  I’m not sure when the services are yet.

ok off to spend some time with my man.. and go to sleep.. night all.
