lots of stuff..

My jewelry party was SO not a big success.. only my family showed up.  i don’t actually feel bad about it at all because i didn’t invite people until the last minute.. well until this week, so i’m sure people had plans.. i’ll bring the books in to work this week and see what sales i get.. to be honest, i really don’t care that much.. they offer 1/2 price buys to hostesses as well as whatever you earn free and it just seems like more money i have to spend to me.. and well, i’ve been spending WAY too much lately as it is.

My girls entire summer wardrobe is FINISHED!!  They have stuff from every line that gymbo offered this spring/summer (except Mermaid magic if you’re a gymbo-holic like me)  In fact i placed an order this morning to finish them up.   Gymbo is having a massive sale (30% off everything.. AND you can use a coupon!)  so yeah, i couldn’t pass that up..

So i’m launching a "June jump" as someone on GF called it.. no shopping for kids’ clothes in June.. the only thing i ‘might’ buy is some stuff for school off of BST, but that is IT! and probably not even that..   The only thing that the girls need for summer is pajamas.. so i may grab a couple pairs at Walmart.. but those are my only possible exceptions..   Shopping can get addictive and i think i’m at that point lately, so i need to back off..

Anyway.. I’m going to have a long, annoying week.. instead of being at work, i’m going to be going to a training an hour or so away mon-tues-weds.  It’s nice to do something different, but i know this is going to be super BORING! and i have students that are going to be taking exams soon.  The school really should have waited to send me to this training.. ah well, i have to do it sooner or later..

On a positive note, we are going camping this weekend.  We’re taking the girls to Jellystone Campground in Java NY (google it, it’s really cute!). They adore it there and i know it will be fun, but i have to get everything packed and ready to go so we can leave when i get home from work Friday.  Chuck is taking the day off since it will save us on babysitting and so that he can do the running around and get the camping stuff with our paychecks we get friday.  (we are a bit broke this week.. we’ll be fine, but have no real cushion for ANYTHING beyond necessities.. )

A crazy thing struck me  last night as i pulled Maya’s June lunch calendar out of her backpack.  My baby only has 3 weeks left in kindergarten!!! it really makes me want to cry.. they are both getting so big.  In September they will both be in school.. I think sending Paige to school’s going to be a lot harder than sending maya since she’s my baby..
