it’s the weekend!!

And i get to start it off with PARP Night at Maya’s school!!! woo-hooooooooo!!
LOL!!
For those of you that will ask PARP stands for Parents As Reading Partners.. it’s a month long program where you are supposed to read with your child for 20 mins/night for the month.. It’s funny because I remember PARP when I was in elementary school.
Anyway, this actually should be a good time.  There is supposed to be singing, dancing, and games to play, and of course, snacks to buy.  I’m sure Maya and Paige will have a blast!  And THAT is what it is all about!
=)

in other news, Dave took Paige to this girl’s house today.  I DO NOT care that he has a girlfriend, but I DO care about what is good for my children.  I just don’t think that introducing your child to everyone you decide to be dating is a good idea until you know that it’s going to be happening for a long time.  And yes, with Charles, i knew I was in it with him for the long haul before my girls met him… that’s how it should be.. not a parade of random people in and out of your childrens’ lives.. He just doesn’t get it.  and really, i don’t have to let him have them,, but.. well.. ugh!  I hate this!  just so you know….

We have Chuck’s kids for the weekend too.  Well tonight we just have Hailey, Alyssa is sleeping at a friend’s house tonight and being dropped off tomorrow morning..

oh look at that i should be leaving, like.. NOW,
so i’m off..
hopefully i can finish this later..

I agree, I don’t like it when people introduce their children to *several* different men or women with no clue as to whether or not it’s going to work out, as in “This is mommy’s bf” or “Daddy’s gf”. Maybe Dave just knows like you just knew? Really, nothing is *100%* for sure (especially these days)…so all we can really do most of the time is hope for the best and be committed to making it work.

I don’t think Dave has the proper judgment to determine appropriate from inappropriate anymore đŸ˜› Have fun at PARP! đŸ™‚
