fantasy planning..

So since the wedding and even on and off before, Charles and I talk about what we will do when we get married.  And yes, we will.  i know some people will think this is premature, but i know.. and that‘s ok..because even if it is early to say it aloud, nothing is going to actually be happening for probably 2 years, so i can fantasize all i want.. so there.

Anyway, its funny since when we first got together marrying was the LAST thing on either of our minds.. i guess that’s something that divorce does to people.  But now, after being together for a while we know we want to be married to each other.. and actually have had these thoughts for quite a while..

when we first started talking I keep suggesting eloping.. going somewhere together and just "doing it."  But he keeps making comments about who will be his best man.. to what "our" cake topper will look like.. so it’s become apparant to me that the man wants a wedding! =)

It actually makes me happy!!! i’m excited.. although the plan is to pay for the shindig ourselves.. since my parents have already paid for one wedding, i would NEVER even suggest that they pay for another.. so we will be keeping it small, but elegant.  And just have the people we WANT there, not the ones we feel we HAVE to invite.

I’m thinking summer or fall.. and elegant and understated…. it’s exciting.. and fun to fantasize..

i can’t wait until it actually becomes a reality.. i get a ring and it’s time to plan!

(my sister can’t wait to plan either.. she is hilarious.. Jenn, you’ll remember what she was like before you even got engaged!.. well same now.. lol!)

oh.. some actual updates/

• have had Alyssa and Hailey here since Sunday.  their mom (gag.. oh sorry) is picking them up in about an hour..
• had my neice sleep over on sunday too and she was here most of the day monday.. (yes, you counted right FIVE little girls!)
• picked Quinn back up Tuesday and took all five of them to mickey D’s to eat then to Chuck E Cheese’s to play games ( we thought it would be cheaper this way, still not sure if it was)
• Charles plays basketball in a YMCA league.. Maya Paige & I are going to go watch him play tonight..
• Otherwise today has been a pretty boring lazy day..
• Divorce Court tomorrow morning.. hopefully it will end in a FINAL DIVORCE!
• After court Dave is taking the girls for the day.. (of course, because i ASKED him too, not because he asked me.. he never does) so i’m not sure what we’re going to do..

ok have to go help the Moo in the bathtub.. ttyl!

oh wait! here is the type of ring i am lusting after.. of course i’ll probably have forgotten by the time it actually happens! LOL!

anyway.. like this.. i like these or the princess cut diamonds done up in the same style.. but ONE stone in the middle. not those ones where they try to make 4 stones look like one..
