ummm…yeah.

I don’t what to write about these days.  i really have to get back  into a good routine.. but let’s see.. for today i’ll give you the highlights of what’s going on in the life of little ol’ me

Last Saturday I went out out with my friend Carrie.  We went to a really cool wine bar, but were hungry and their kitchen wasn’t open so we went to a bar that is right across from the Applebee’s we both used to work for.  this bar is always entertaining because there are people we both used to work with (8 years ago mind you) that are STILL hanging out in the same places.. it’s like time has stood still there..

well, while i was there, my STUDENT WALKED IN!  yes, you read that right, my 14 year-old STUDENT!!! So she tried not looking at me so i wouldn’t recognize her.  LOL! but i told the bartender and she was promptly asked to leave.  ugh.. kids.. i should say PARENTS, these days..

one good thing though, when we got our bill.. only our food was on it!  guess they appreciated the heads up.

Charles and I also joined a gym! =) 

I love it, it is very inexpensive and it seems as though EVERYONE goes there.  My mom, my aunt, Charles, me, my friend Carrie, one of our students at school.. it’s nice.

I’ve gone 3x this week! go me!! one time with Carrie, once with Charles, and once with just my little pink iPod.  I’m really finding that i actually like working out!  Which is really strange for me, but maybe it’s something that comes with age?? I don’t know.  but i’m loving it!  hopefully i’ll see some results from it! 

Really though, i’m mostly trying to get healthy this year, not just focus on weight loss, but being healthy.. I guess i feel like i’m 30 now, it’s time to take care of myself.

I still have all my christmas stuff up.  I usually wait til the epiphany to take it down, which was January 6th, so today i’m going to at least try to get the tree down.  Plus some other stuff.  I really go all out with the decor, so it will probably take a couple of days to get it all down.

Plus I have my neices coming over to play for awhile today, so we’ll see how much actually gets done.
