2008 Questions Answered.

1. What did you do in 2008 that you’d never done before? Filed for divorce… i guess.

2. Did you keep your new years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year? Don’t think i kept them all, actually i can’t remember them.. didn’t make any new ones.. at least, not yet

3. Did anyone close to you give birth? No, not yet, but my cousin Jenn will in about 14 days!

4. Did anyone close to you die? My cousin Liz, who was more like an aunt than a cousin

5. What countries did you visit? Only Canada, not a big feat since the bridge to Canada is about 10-15 minutes from my house! lol

6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008? a Wii!!! LOL!  A more fulfilling relationship – already have a great start on that one!

7. What date from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? February 14th, 2008 the day i found out Dave was bipolar and had him checked into the psychiatric hospital

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Just getting through it all.

9. What was your biggest failure? I’m not sure, maybe the end of my marriage – though that wasn’t really my fault

10. Did you suffer illness or injury? No

11. What was the best thing you bought? My new patio furniture!! and tons of Gymboree for the girls!!

12. Whose behavior merited celebration? My girls – they have been so great through all of this!

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? Dave’s when he was having his 2 episodes this year – it was literally unreal

14. Where did most of your money go? Gymboree! LOL, mostly just bills

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? Charles

16. What song will always remind you of 2008? This is funny since i’m not a "rap" kind of girl normally, but Plies – Bust it Baby.. lol!

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:

i. Happier or sadder? Compared to THIS time.. probably about the same.. but compared to a few weeks from now (february).. i’m ecstatic!

ii. Thinner or fatter? about the same.. fatter that i was this summer though.. but this time is always my "heavier" time of year

iii. Richer or poorer? Poorer

18. What do you wish you’d done more of? spent more time doing things with the girls this summer

19. What do you wish you’d done less of? crying

20. How will you be spending New Year’s Eve? We had my neice sleep over and borrowed my sister’s Wii for the night and played and had snacks.. it was a good night.

21. What was the most embarrassing thing that happened to you in 2008? Probably some of the things Dave did this summer during his second episode.

22. Did you fall in love in 2008? Yes….he’s different than anyone i’ve ever dated, and truly amazing..

23. How many one-night stands? ZERO!

24. What was your favorite TV program? One Tree Hill, Bones, Grey’s Anatomy, House.. etc.

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year? I feel very differently about a certain person, but i wouldn’t say hate

26. What was the best book you read? The Twilight Saga!

27. What was your greatest musical discovery? didn’t have one really

28. What did you want and get? A different life.

29. What did you want and not get? A better job, that will come..

30. What was your favorite film of this year? hmmm.. i really liked Twilight, but that’s because i just saw it the other night, I can’t really think of any other

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? I turned 30 this year **gasp**, but my family threw me a great party.. with a bounce house and a band!

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? getting a job in a public school is the only thing i can think of.. all in all i don’t think ANYTHING could have done that for my year

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2008? I don’t know.. i like Gap, and Banana Republic, NY&Co.

34. What kept you sane? My girls.. they need me.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy most? hmm.. not sure, i don’t have many celebrity crushes

36. What political issue stirred you the most? I don’t pay attention

37. Who did you miss? No one really.. well, Liz

38. Who was the best new person you met? Charles.. but this doesn’t really count since we worked together since Nov. 07

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2008. That there is no stability in life.
