88 directions.*

Ever feel like you are being pulled in 88 directions all at the same time?

that would be me, today.

I feel like my family has been entirely too needy today and I"ve had enough!  grrrr.

 I went grocery shopping this afternoon.. to two different stores.  i spent about $175!  ouch.  but yes, we needed it.  I don’t feel bad about it at all.  I also picked up Easter basket stuff for the kiddos in there, so it isn’t quite as bad as it sounds.. Then since Dave’s foot is swollen and ouchy I carried all near $200 of said groceries into the house.. many trips, by myself.  Dave did help put away, which was.. well, totally needed. 

By this time I also had a magnificently pounding headache.  lovely.

So then after a couple hours of trying to feel better while trying to deal with my LOUD children.  I told Dave i needed to get out for a bit.  So i headed to the mall.  It was funny since I ran into my sister there and we ended up shopping together!  Totally more fun!  I ended up getting this gorgeous black dress at Banana Republic that I can’t wait to wear.  (the link is to an ebay auction of the same dress.  since i got it at the outlet, it isn’t on the actually BR site) And yes, i am wearing black on Easter.  I love it and i will get many more chances to wear it than I would some pastel number.

Then I came home, made dinner.. (beef & broccoli YUM!) Cleaned up, picked out clothes for me and the girls for tomorrow.  Did some dishes, ironed my shirt for tomorrow.  and got the girls into bed.  And, no, the headache never did go away..

Now i have to make sure i have some sort of idea of what i am doing in school tomorrow and then i’m off to bed as well.  (oh on a side note, my principal decided in an effort to cut down some of our paper work, we no longer have to hand in daily lesson plans every week!!!! yippeeeeee!!!!!!)

It wasn’t a bad day, just a busy day.  The shopping (at the mall) was fun, but i just wish I had more time to relax today.  Oh well, i only have 3 days of work this week and then a 5 day weekend, so it will all work out!
