OUCH! and an interview

OUCH, ouch ouch OOOOUUUUCCCCHHHHH!!!

my back hurts.  ugh!

Anyway, nothing too exciting going on today.  I proctored that exam.  As I thought… bOrInG!!  at least it’s over.  I brought a book so it wasn’t that bad.

I also got called for a job interview.. it’s not exactly a teaching job though.. it’s this.. 

The Girls Inc. Specialist will be primarily responsible for the development and implementation of off-site Girls Inc. Preventing Adolescent Pregnancy Programming. This individual will identify sites at which to offer the programs, develop and maintain working relationships with potential partners recruit and supervise volunteer facilitators, and be responsible for evaluating and adapting programs to meet target populations.

That is the exact ad that is on buffalo job finder.  I just shot them a resume for the heck of it last night.  That’s it just a resume over the internet, no cover letter, no references, no nothing… and I got a call today to schedule an interview!  love it!!  I called back but I got voicemail, so i’ll let you know what happens.  I’m not exactly sure i’ll love all that is involved, but it is a job where I may feel that I’m making a difference.. AND..  It would be really nice to have some sort of steady income.  We might even be able to save some money for the big move.. because, really when all is said and done..
