positively giddy.

This morning I met with the summer school principal, got books, and took a quick peek at my classroom.  I am positively giddy!  Wow, I love teaching!! I am very excited about this.  It will be so nice to be teaching and getting paid in the summer.  I believe because I am teaching summer school this year that I am in for subsequent years as long as I want to teach it!  This is great…

ok now for the not so great part.  I have only a little over a week to move my entire family, and come up with a curriculum to teach for the next 6 weeks.  As I was told by the principal, "Your challenge is to try to condense this (the whole year’s curriculum) into a 6 week course."  EEEEEEK!  However talking to a friend of mine who is also a teacher.. I see projects in their future… and presentations.. hahahaha.. I know, I am an evil teacher..=)

so today is being spent packing and cleaning and hopefully finishing up for the most part around here.  I wish I was working on my school stuff, but such is life…

next will be unpacking and 7th grade science all week long!!! 

Better get off of here before hubby catches me! lol.!
