before we move..

Yesterday  marked 3 weeks until our moving day..  Therefore.. looking around.. I have a ton of stuff to do! ick!  But I also want to be able to enjoy the summertime with my children.. so there is a hard balance to strike right now since I have so stinkin’ much to do..

This week has definitely been more focused on the girls and doing stuff with them, and that’s great, but now I’ve really got to get down to business!  Just to recap this crazy weekend…

Thursday.. took the girls to the drive-in saw Shrek the Third and Spiderman 3

Friday.. garage sales and Maya’s first dance recital performance…  Kind of a lazy day other than that since we were out so late the night before..

Saturday.. Maya had TWO performances.. one at 1pm and one at 6:30pm.. after her first performance we stayed and watched the rest of the first half of the recital (it was about a 4 to 4 1/2 hour production all together), then I took her to lunch, just her and I.  After we killed time by going to my sister’s house for about an hour or so..  Then all of us commandeered my mom’s car.. lol (Amanda, Quinn, Maya, and I) and went to the last show.  The kids danced, and we left.. looooong two days of dance recitals!  However after that, Maya and I made a quick stop off at the mall where I grabbed some much needed items for the kids

Sunday.. Allentown Art Festival.. mostly we just walked around and checked things out.. and ate some yummy carnival food!  And  then we went to Ellicott Creek Park so the girls could play!!

No wonder i’m tired today..

ok well I thought I would start a TO DO list of all the things I need to do before we move. I’ll post it here but i might put in on a separate entry also for easier access.. ok here we go..

• Pack computer room (almost complete!)
• Take pics of Maya’s crib to sell on craigslist
• paint the girls toddler beds pink
• do ALL our laundry (I have gotten a good start on this)
• Pack Kitchen
• Pack girls room
• Pack basement play room
• pack all linens/curtains (have to take curtains off of windows though)
• pack living room
• pack our bedroom
• clean/scrub upstairs bathroom
• clean/scrub downstairs bathroom
• sweep/mop all floors
• scrub kitchen
• pack all bathroom stuff.
• go through boxes of junk in basement that haven’t been gone through since moving here
• Call and order Penske truck

ok i’m done for now this is just TOOOOOOOOOO much! ok i’m off to get a start!
