#16 My little secret

I have never been good at interviewing (lack of self confidence) but I have found one that works very well for me.

I always buy myself an outfit or at least a new piece of clothing or jewelry. Just that little extra something greatly increases my confidence and I feel like I could conquer the world (or at least I project that, anyway).

Emmett gave me $187 in winning lottery tickets. Don’t ask me why. He’s a weirdo like that, and besides he’s really been spoiling me since we’ve started whatevering again. Anyway, I went to a few stores and got the cutest outfit and the cutest new shoes from Target. We’ll see if my little trick works! When I went on the interview for this job, I had a new sweater and a new piece of jewelry and I knew in under 4 hours that I had gotten the job.
