This is why I love this man

A few dates ago, he was teasing me about riding the short bus after I said something insanely stupid at dinner. We both laughed, but he just couldn’t let it go. He continued, it was actually hysterical and not so horribly embarassing and then I asked, “Are you done yet?”. With a giggle, he said, “No, ‘cuz I’m like butta baby – I’m on a roll”. Such a dork, yet so something I would say! He found it hysterical, as did I. And I have continued to find that phrase to be hilariously entertaining ever since.

Last week when he came out, I drove. I gave him the ultimate vote of my confidence and let him control the remote to my satellite radio, thus controlling all of the music in the car. After the movie, he was flipping channels and came across “Shake me” by Cinderella, an old song of theirs I had never heard. He immediately blares it, starts playing air drums out my sunroof and singing and sort of dancing in place. Remembering a few months ago when a random patron at Applebee’s caught me dancing to “My Sharona” in my car (by myself), I thought, “Yep, we were pretty much made for each other”.
