Grr.

Every time I have felt like writing lately, my computer has been down so I apologize for my absence.

Things are going fairly well here. I am working tons at one of my old employer’s top competitors. I just started, but already I like it. A good friend of mine from that old job also works here and having a friendly face around has definitely made things easier. I am also getting more hours at the night job. Yeehaw. Put in Bay part 2 shall be on. September 27th is what we are planning for.

I am still dating Max and still liking it. Sure, things are at a snail’s pace but he is a total gentleman, even holding down my seat for me when we go to movies. I love talking to him and I seriously just think he is the cutest thing ever. My fingers are definitely crossed that this works out. And no, we haven’t slept together yet and it’s been almost 2 months. But – I think I like that. Emmett and I rushed everything. Max and I had that hot make out session the night we met and then another on our first date, but everything has been extremely lightweight since then – we’ve just been taking our time getting to know each other and that is fine by me. Sure, I think I am getting ready to burst sometimes because I want to get physical, but in the long run this is better I’m pretty sure. My one complaint with him is that he kind of sucks at correspondence. He warned me of this and it is definitely true. The first few weeks he was great at calling, but as we have gotten more comfortable, I usually have to call him first. He always calls me back and what not but it is just a slight annoyance. In the grander scheme of things, it’s not a big deal. I like him, he likes me and that is what matters. I didn’t get to see him this past weekend but I am definitely hoping to this weekend coming up. I wish I could post the picture I have of him – god he is just the cutest thing ever.

I made a gorgeous necklace last weekend. It is 3 strands of various brown beads, one strand of chain and the pendant is a brown, gold and black starfish shaped glasswork piece. It’s gorgeous if I must say so myself and I’ve had tons of offers on it. For right now though, it’s mine. The next show is in October so I will pick up more supplies then.
