Happened to me in ’96. I thought it was the end of the world. Looking back, I realize it was a wonderful new beginning. Be easy on yourself. It will all work out fine!

Boy do I know that feeling. two years ago AMW stopped hiring me with no explanation after 20yrs and The Today show took me off retainer after 15 yrs. and hire me now only very occasionally. It’s tough stuff to get used to. I’m sorry but I’m sure you’ll bounce back with something just as good or better!

Wow 17 years! Ive never stayed in one (work)place for more than 5. I hope you will be able to live ok. Not having any money really really sucks… (speaking from experience!) but being able to be home for a while can be lovely… but 17 years is a long long time to work in one place…thinking of you.. sending a big hug (and you can have the heat too and welcome to it!)love
