Like A Boss
Today was hell at work. I was having mood swings, my coworker was PMSing, and people were acting outright stupid. It was a long and horrible shift, though lucky for me I have one day left until I’m no longer in charge. I hate being in charge when people run around acting like utter morons all damn week. This is why I like kids, they don’t know any better and they generally listen when you tell them what to do. No such luck with adults… Then, I got off work and people were driving like idiots. I got cut off twice in the parking lot by the bank and then again a little ways down the street. I was never so happy to make it to the house. Ha. I relaxed for maybe an hour when Darryl went to use my car. It wouldn’t start, just kept clicking. I knew it involved the battery, so while his brother took him to the store, I began to check some things out. Darryl’s mom’s neighbor heard the car and came over with his portable charger. Turns out we didn’t even need it, the problem was a loose battery terminal! Yay, easy fix! In the end, I fixed my car like a boss! With the help of a very friendly neighbor. I’m excited, even though it was beyond simple, but I kept my cool and got my car running. I’m a happy camper for now. Just gotta get that old thing a name. Hehe. Just had to share my excitement, especially since it brightened my day. Much love everyone.
