the gist of pleasure

Everytime you write something like this, I think of how much I want someone to feel that way about me. I wonder if I *do* ignite someone’s breath like shock.

this is so reminiscent of my relationship w/ my husband. the dark forces of passion and lust are insidious. the intensity of attraction is overwhelming sometimes. life is brutal. why do we live?

the day you posted this was my birthday. i felt pretty bad that day, and now a few weeks later, I read this and feel as though it was my day all over again…as though someone where thinking of me that way. You reach the reader beautufully here. “…distract me like an accident, ignite my breath like shock” Entrancing.

“enclose me like a tidal wave, leave me like a drought,” that brings back memories. Though when you’re in it, it seems unbearably overwhelming.

re read this poem and understand it better. it seems to be describing intense passion and attraction. “leave me like a drought.” what are you referring to..that the person leaves suddenly or apathetically or just that when the embrace is over it feels like a drought because of the intensity of the touch?

I’m sorry to make you so dizzy. I’m trying to stop spinning so fast. Honest. 🙂
