A BEAUTIFUL SATURDAY

  • What’s really happening:
  • Remember those 19 boxes of nautical books? It appears that we don’t sell anything under $35.00 on eBay.  I get pull all those lower priced books out to sell here in our store.  We will be there early today to do it.
  • George’s shop is reorganizing once again. He has a year and a half left to go.
  • My shop is reorganizing yet again. When I started one manager was just leaving.  Since her departure there has been three other managers.  The new one will make my fifth manager since I started work here.
  • Today was blazingly beautiful with deep blue skies, clear white clouds scudding across the skies, and sparkle everywhere. At our Friday meeting, our windows overlook Mission Bay.  The dramatic colors of the water, of the sand, of the row of buildings across the water really captivated me.  Heading home, the sunset was blazingly orange against the steel blue of the rest of the world.  This really is the best time of year for beauty.
  • Then wonderful rain. I don’t hear so well any more, but George said he heard it raining buckets last night.  The world is wonderfully wet this morning.

……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….

Himself:  Knee got slept on wrong way last night and hurt this morning.

Herself:  Slept pretty darned good last night.  Some pains ever since that Mexican dinner.

Reading:  About an Irish village.  Perfect for this St. Paddy’s Day and my last name.

Gratitude’s:  G is helping me sort the books this morning.

Don was surprised the Saturday rain and thunder didn’t awaken me also.

Sounds like you are both keeping busy!
