Finalities

WEDNESDAY 22nd AUGUST

So, finally – all those finalities, those last moments! I am sitting in a restaurant for a last meal of sardinhas assadas in Faro, in the 2 Brothers inside garden,  its cool and shaded and theres the sweet sound of falling water. I have my boarding pass. Tick. Passport and ticket, tick. I only got an hour on the beach earlier, after getting up at 0630, I shouldnt have bothered, and now I m in the restaurant without a shower and smelling of the sea oh well I m sure they re used to it and its only lunch after all. I dont feel bad about being alone. But the cold carrot and coriander is an acquired taste. I want a shower before the airport though. And to change my top – the red dye from the plastic bag I was carrying from the beach has melted and transferred to my top and my arms. I look scrufftastic.

Pep, si?

Run run run. Jumphowhigh.

Calm, the peace that is already inside every one of us, all the power that ever was is here now, I am the centre of expression for the primal Will-to-Good which eternally creates and recreates the universe…

My book would have to be about the road, bicycles, the people, sex, Ophelia, Miranda, pici, ti cocos, and (lunch)

Yes, food. It was good. I couldnt even manage the last mouthful of sardine and potato. Lots of olive oil and a touch of vinagre do vinho branco, yum. Now I m stuffed. And time is running out. I should just run to the hostel for my bags, I have half an hour.. five minutes for a qiuck shower… and cross my fingers that there are no natural disasters this time and the plane goes in the right direction……
