Giftgasms
Got a few things for Christmas/my birthday and I thought I would share. What recession?
A new phone!
I was most excited to get this ’cause my other phone was pretty lame. It’s pretty cool but the battery basically sucks.
A really gross book!
I am so glad my sister is sick like me. She got me the Mutter Museum: Historic Medical Photographs. It’s basically a collection of photos of people that have been deformed through either accients, attacks, or birth. Now, I love nasty stuff but some of these photos even make me retch.
An Xbox 360!
I know, I know. I’m a bit behind but my PS2 did fine for me until they stopped coming out with good games so I had no choice but to upgrade! There’s only so much Resident Evil 4 you can play until you crave something more! Plus, with the Xbox 360, I can play two other awesome zombie games: Dead Rising and Left 4 Dead!!
Rock Band 2!
Since my PS2 Rock band equipment isn’t compatible with my new game console, I had to upgrade. Such a fun game…well, when you have other people to play with! LoL.
A Kindle!
This was a surprise from my mom. Usually I just tell her what I want and she gets it but she got this for me all by herself! She did well. I hadn’t even heard of a Kindle! It lets you read hundreds of books, blogs, and magazines all in one sleek looking device! It’s pretty freaking awesome except I can’t get it to work! Hopefully I can figure it out soon, though!
Obligatory Cash/Clothing!
You know, monies and clothing and gift cars and shtuff like that! Can’t go wrong with cash!
Now, I just wanna say how absolutely blessed I was this year. Basically, I don’t need any of this stuff but my parents have been fortunate enough to be able to provide me with these luxuries. And thanks to student loans, I’ve been able to buy some of those things as well. My family might not be perfect but they’re pretty cool. One of my friends didn’t even come back home for Christmas this year because his family was fighting and he didn’t want to deal with it. That really made me sad. He decided to stay out of town and work instead. And although my family is really dysfunctional, we can all get along…at least during the holidays. And I’m really thankful for that as well. God is good.
That has to be the most creative way to announce your christmas gifts, haha. That was great. The Mutter Museum is an awesome place. I haven’t been there personally but everything i’ve seen about it has me completely sucked in.
